Our company was built by Kenzaburo Kawashima.

He raced motorcycle and was a magazine editor of motorcycles.

He started the motorcycle shop “KENZSPORTS” in Tokyo Japan in1982.

Not only does he deal with motorcycle, but makes original parts and original clothing for motorcyclists. Also, he will compete on the Japanese National Championship Motorcycle Race at same time.

His wife is Tomoko Kawashima. She was a pioneer the female riders in Japan and she competed on that race, too.

In 1985 and 1986, they challenged the Suzuka 8 hour Endurance Race for the first time as a married couple in Japan (in the world). It was a famous story.

Since then, we have had a racing team in Japan since 1999.

Some young riders in our team compete on the the Japanese National Championship and the Suzuka 8 hour Race every year.

In the summer of 2003, our team participated in the Suzuka 8 hour Race.

We (rider: K. Kitagawa / co-rider: K. Fujiwara) were in first place in the 7th hour, we were ahead of the other competitors by 30 seconds.

Then Kitagawa went into the pit for the last rotation of riders. Every spectator believed that we would win at that time.

To our regret the engine would not start again.

Many people who dreamed winning of GSX-R1000 were very disappointed. And if they had won, it would have been SUZUKI‘s first victory in 25 years. (Yoshimura SUZUKI won that race in 1978.)

We could not win the championship of the Suzuka 8 hour Race, but we won that of the Japanese National Championship Series Race in that year. (category: Japan Super Bike)
